NFPA 70E Arc Flash Training
There are several things you must do to comply with the standards above, including using the correct tools, providing the correct personal protective equipment (PPE), performing calculations for the degree of arc flash hazard, and providing warning labels.
But you must also provide training for workers on the hazards of arc flash. Employers can use this course as a tool to help train workers on the hazards of Arc Flash and to supplement any classroom training that is required to be performed. OSHA places the burden of training on the employer. Employers must insure that they are meeting all of the training requirements for their workers including any site-specific training requirements. Individuals can take the course to raise their awareness level.
