Propane is the most widely used liquefied petroleum (LP) gas in the United States. This training course provides basic safety knowledge for handling and refueling propane tanks.
Viewers are shown what to do before dispensing propane into cylinders. Learn to look for DOT, ICC, or ASME nameplates on the cylinder to show it is approved. The course demonstrates how to inspect cylinders for dents, gouges, and other damage. Since direct contact with propane to the skin can cause freeze burn, personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks and gloves should always be worn when handling propane.
Learn how to protect yourself while handling propane by watching this safety training course.
