Bloodborne Pathogens Refresher

Every year thousands of people become infected with HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C. “Bloodborne Pathogens Refresher Training” provides a review of how all employees can protect themselves from exposure to bloodborne contaminants in the workplace.

This training reminds employees of the risks associated with exposure to harmful pathogens. Information is provided on the most common pathogens that pose the greatest threat, how to limit exposure, personal protective equipment, work practice controls and post-exposure information. Workers must be sure to treat every exposure to blood, as though the material may be contaminated.

Use this online training video to remind employees of the steps required to stay safe when an exposure to bloodborne pathogens is possible.
