Personal Protective Equipment in Construction Refresher

Over a million workers are injured annually on the job. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) studies show most workplace injuries can be prevented by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and the construction environment is no exception. This online refresher training video reminds constructions worker's of the importance of always using the proper PPE.

This video reminds construction workers OSHA requires employers to provide PPE wherever an employee may encounter a hazardous condition. Employees learn to determine the correct category of the required PPE and identify the appropriate PPE for the task at hand. For example, is eye protection required and if so should it be regular safety glasses or goggles with side shields?

After completion of this refresher training construction workers will be reinvigorated and ready to take responsibility for their safety by always using the proper PPE.
