Overview

Sexual harassment is illegal, and like several other states, the state of Illinois has specific laws regarding how sexual harassment is dealt with in the workplace. The Illinois Human Rights Act, in conjunction with the Workplace Transparency Act, forbids discrimination in Illinois with respect to employment, financial credit, public accommodations, housing and sexual harassment, as well as sexual harassment in education.

The course covers the laws protecting victims of this offensive behavior, identifies and differentiates between the two forms of sexual harassment, the supervisor’s role in preventing the behavior, reporting/retaliation and consequences of the behavior.

Utilize this course to train your managers and supervisors to become aware of laws and expectations around sexual harassment, and to practice the proper procedures for dealing with reports of harassment.
