Overview

Workplace injuries, or even worse, deaths, are something with which no manager wants to have on their watch. Per BLS statistics, a total of 5,333 workers died from a work-related injury in the U.S. in 2019, up 2 percent from the 2018 total of 5,250. The fatal work injury rate was 3.5 fatalities per 100,000 full-time equivalent (FTE) workers, which was the rate reported in 2018. With the right tools, techniques, and resources, ensuring a safe workplace ultimately leads to safer and healthier workplace conditions, which in turn lead to less injuries and fatalities.

This entertaining and informative course explores the essentials of workplace safety. It covers developing the right attitude, the hazards of hurrying, issues with fatigue, a safe jobsite, cleaning up a spill, and appropriately handling emergencies and injuries.

Use this course among staff at all levels of your organization to help ensure all employees follow safety standards and protocols.
