MODIFY Course Shells
What is a Course Shell?
A Shell is just like it sounds — it's a "blank" course or template. It's a completely installable course but without content. The Shell comes with empty "placeholders" for your content.
When you install a Shell and display it as a course, you'll see a placeholder title screen, a single placeholder graphic for the lesson, and a single placeholder question in the quiz. Simply replace those placeholder graphics and questions with your own content!

Creating your Course in 5 easy steps!
1. Order a Course Shell
Start by filling out a Course Shell order form. Just give us the course title and each lesson title. We'll create a Course Shell and deliver it to you as an email attachment file. Install the shell just like a course.
By the way, you'll love the price! Our introductory price is only $100 per shell. Make all the copies you want of your finished shell-based course for your company's own use.
2. Add your content
Use the multimedia tools that come free with Microsoft Windows or use other popular programs you're already familiar with to create your audio and graphic files. Use any MPEG or AVI video encoding board you like to turn your videos into digital video files.
Or use your existing PowerPoint presentations, or manuals as course content.
3. Write your questions and glossary terms
Use your favorite word processor to compose your questions and glossary terms and definitions (if desired), then "paste" them into the course with Modify.
4. Bring it all together with Modify
Copy your multimedia files to your course's directory and link them to the scripts provided with your Course Shell. You're done!
5. Distribute your course to other computers
MODIFY lets you create an installable file set for placing on a zip drive, CD-R or diskettes with the click of one button! Your Course Shell license allows you to duplicate your course any place you want for use within your own company.
