This video training, Machine Safeguarding, teaches employees and management the importance of using machine safeguards. Although modern machine design has made the workplace much safer in recent years the risk for serious injury still exists. In fact, failure to adequately safeguard machinery is one of the most common violations of OSHA regulations.

This video course trains operators, engineers and supervisors how to avoid violations and maintain a safer workplace by implementing and using safeguards. The online training demonstrates the hazards of removing or not using the appropriate machine safeguards. These hazards include nip points, pinch points and shear points that can cause severe injuries such as crushed, mangled or severed body parts. The online training course educates employees and management on the various types of safeguards that can be used such as self-adjusting, fixed, and interlocking guards.

This online video trains workers and supervisors how to properly use machine safeguards to avoid injuries and reduce the potential for OSHA violations.
