Overview

Worldwide, hazardous material labeling is changing. The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of container labeling specifies exactly how hazardous material information must be presented and depicted on labels and placards.

This Video On Demand explains the six major pieces of information required by the new labeling system. A special section of the video training shows each of the nine new pictograms depicting the specific types of hazards identified by the new system and explains the potential dangers the images represent. Viewers learn about the international rule's phase-in periods and their responsibility to fully understand the new labeling system to ensure their own safety and that of their co-workers.

This video training concludes with a quiz to measure your employee's understanding of the materials presented.
