First Aid: Step Back for Safety

This online course, part of the Step Back for Safety series, provides general first aid safety training for the workplace. The course lessons provide workers with information to help them respond appropriately to injuries at the workplace, keeping injured workers and themselves safe.

The four P's (preserve life, prevent further injury, promote recovery and protect yourself) provide the basic elements of first aid. Workers learn the importance of protecting themselves from bloodborne pathogens and infection. Making workers aware of the basics of first aid will help them properly respond to an injury and get the help necessary for the situation. Use this online video to introduce your employees to the fundamentals of first aid in the workplace.
