Workplace Violence Training

In a recent report published by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, a total of 17,865 workers were victims of workplace homicides from 1992 to 2019. Workplace violence occurs in many different types of workplaces and incidents can stem from arguments with a co-worker to a situation with a customer or vendor. This month we released seven new courses on workplace violence. Six of the courses feature specific work environments and one course is more generic for any workplace setting. All these courses define workplace violence and address the warning signs, handling aggressive behavior, dealing with violent behavior, and creating a Workplace Violence Prevention Program. Slips, Trips and Falls Training

According to the National Safety Council, in 2020, 211,640 workers were injured badly enough to require days off work, and 805 died due to the result of slips, trips and falls. These kinds of accidents can happen anywhere, however, they are preventable. This month we released seven new courses on slips, trips, and falls. Six of the courses feature specific work environments and one course is more generic for any workplace setting. All these courses explain the center of gravity and maintaining balance. They provide practical information on the hazards of slips, trips, and falls, walking surfaces, housekeeping, footwear, and how to fall properly. The courses include:
