Overview

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has recently developed new standards regarding the design, safe use and operation, and training for the use of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs.) ANSI A92, which replaces the former aerial work platforms (AWPs), seeks to replace the older standards.

This course discusses the compliance aspect regarding the new standards, MEWP classification, training, risk assessment, performing the pre-operational inspection, function tests, critical safety aspects, and raising, lowering, and dismounting the platform.

Utilize this course among any of your organization’s staff using MEWPs, maintenance staff, and those who supervise the operation and maintenance of MEWPs to ensure the mobile elevating work platforms are operating and used in a safe and efficient manner.
