Overview

This training video helps new and experienced Word users format their documents to create a distinctive appearance. The Video On Demand explains how to apply a page border and color, add headers and footers, control the page layout and add a watermark.

The viewer learns how to control elements of the border on the design tab and the page border tab and how to remove them. Headers and footers allow you to add specific types of content, such as page numbers, to every page of a document, including or excluding the first page and this training shows you how to apply and format headers and footers. Word users are shown how to use the Word application window, which contains tools used to edit a Word document and its appearance. Step-by-step directions for inserting a transparent graphic or text watermark are detailed, along with controlling the properties of the watermark.

Use this course to learn formatting techniques at the page level to create more professional looking documents.
