Emergency Preparedness and Response

This training teaches the proper procedures for basic emergency response during a crisis or emergency. Training is important for employees to respond in a timely manner when an emergency occurs. It is important for employees to know what chemicals they are working with, as well as where emergency equipment is, and other procedures, such as exits and evacuation plans. This training goes over several situations, depicting the appropriate responses.

Each of the sections of this training is based on a specific emergency situation. These sections include; General Preparedness information, Fire Emergencies, Medical Emergencies, Chemical Spills and Releases, Chemical Exposures, Severe Weather Emergencies, Earthquakes, Workplace Violence, and Active Shooters. The training explains how important it is to understand the severity of the situation, and the steps to take if an emergency occurs.
