What is the most common injury when lifting objects? How does the back work? These are the questions answered in this training to help office workers prevent accidents and back injuries.
This training video goes over the structure of the back and its purpose in movement. Things like hurrying a lift can be damaging. Preparing for a lift includes assessing your back and the capability of being able to lift the object. Carrying multiple objects or carrying liquids has its own set of challenges. Sometimes it makes more sense to use a cart or other object to assist.
When carrying an object and putting it down, safety must be considered. This course shows office workers how to safely lift objects at work while preventing injury.
