Overview

This training video, presented in Spanish, shows you how to work closely and safely with hazardous chemicals so that information is gained without injury. Focusing on OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, this video highlights safety in the workplace for working with hazardous chemicals.

Focusing on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety labels, as well as providing an introductory look at individual standards in the workplace, this video details information through live-action video examples. Guidelines based on the SDS are provided so the viewer understands the importance of classifying chemicals according to the Globally Harmonized System before storing them. Toxins, corrosives, and acidic chemicals are looked at as well. Specifically, this training video details how and where to find information about hazardous chemicals, and gives an excellent introduction into OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard.

To make sure the viewer has understood all information within the video, interactive menus before each chapter are provided so that playback is easy. A short quiz follows each section of this training.
