The purpose of Training Server is to enpower learners to participate in the management of their own training. From a learner’s perspective, Training Server is simple to access and easy to use.
Training Server provides each learner with their own mini training management system. Learners can view a status listing of all their assigned training; completed and not completed. They can launch courses from their assignments list, view their entire training history, print Certificates of Completion, and control system settings for their user account.
The LMS administrator decides on user login requirements. The user may or may not require a password during login. The administrator also decides whether to allow self enrollment or require pre-enrollment.
Based on the administrative choices, the user will enter a User ID and, if required, a password.
Once the learner logs in, the learner's assigned or available courses are listed.
